BPS Fiber Delivers Major Internet Speed Upgrades to Customers
BPS Fiber customers received major speed upgrades in December, with many customers seeing their Internet speeds increase several times over as BPS continues investing in its 100% fiber network.

In December 2025, BPS Fiber completed one of the largest residential speed upgrades in our history, significantly increasing Internet speeds for customers across our fiber network.
Customers on several previous speed tiers were automatically moved to much faster symmetrical fiber plans:
- 15 Mbps download / 1 Mbps upload → 100 Mbps / 100 Mbps
- 25 Mbps / 3 Mbps → 500 Mbps / 500 Mbps
- 25 Mbps / 5 Mbps → 500 Mbps / 500 Mbps
- 50 Mbps / 10 Mbps → 1 Gig / 1 Gig
- 50 Mbps / 50 Mbps → 1 Gig / 1 Gig
- 100 Mbps / 100 Mbps → 1 Gig / 1 Gig
- 200 Mbps / 200 Mbps → 1 Gig / 1 Gig
The upgrades reflect how dramatically Internet usage has changed. Today's homes may have dozens of connected devices using the Internet for streaming, gaming, working from home, video calling, security cameras, cloud backups and everyday communication.
Because BPS Fiber delivers fiber all the way to the home, we're able to provide symmetrical speeds—fast downloads and equally fast uploads.
That means a 500 Mbps BPS Fiber connection can deliver up to 500 Mbps in both directions, while our 1 Gig service can deliver Gigabit-class speeds for both downloads and uploads.
