Our History
From the local telephone company to 100% fiber — rooted here the whole way.
Rooted in the Bootheel
BPS started as the local telephone company serving Bernie, Parma, and Steele — the same towns we serve today. Being local has never been a marketing angle for us; it's just who we are.
Building the fiber network
Over the years we invested in fiber straight to homes and businesses — not fixed wireless, not DSL — so our towns get symmetrical, gigabit-capable internet that keeps up with everything modern life throws at it.
Becoming BPS Fiber
We rebranded from BPS Telephone to BPS Fiber to match what we actually deliver today — while keeping the phone service and the local team our neighbors have counted on for decades. The build continues, including our active expansion into Malden.
